he recorded the Liszt Piano Concerto in E flat with the Royal Philharmonic

. In
London
again, this time for the Concert Artist label, Nicholas Zumbro recorded the
Samuel Barber and Charles Ives Sonatas and the complete Goyescas of Granados.

. The critics were quick to follow
the
Amsterdam
press comments and see in him as the "the
ideal Interpreter" of this outstanding work of the twentieth century.
The London Times summed up the critics generally by writing of the artist’s
"Heroic force...Superb assurance and
Boundless energy". The year 2004 brings with it the 50th
Anniversary of the death of Charles Ives. To mark this anniversary Nicholas
Zumbro will be again programming the “Concord Sonata” in a number of
commemorative recitals. His opening concert in this special series will be in
the Athens Great Concert Hall in October.
This “boundless energy” has served him well as he devotes much time to
teaching as well as public appearances. A noted performer and teacher.
